What counts as good?

A rough rule: your DSO should be within about 1.5x of your payment terms. On net-30 terms, under ~45 days is healthy, 45–60 is slipping, and over 60 means a chunk of your cash is sitting in other people's bank accounts.

How to bring it down

DSO falls when invoices go out the day the work is done, reminders go out on a schedule instead of when someone remembers, paying is one click, and payments get matched to invoices quickly. The problem is that all of that is manual, so it slips the moment people are busy.

That is exactly the work Settle takes over: it drafts the invoices, chases every overdue account from your own email on a safe cadence, lets customers pay by card in one click, and applies the payments automatically. A person only approves the final step.
